Description of Terms: -License: a license gives you the right to use the artwork for the duration of the licensing period which is normally 1 to 2 years. During this licensing period I retain the copyright of the artwork and any/all derivative works -Non-exclusive: a non-exclusive license gives me the right to continue licensing the design to other companies in the same product category you choose in addition to licensing the design in other product categories during the licensing period. -Exclusive: an exclusive license gives you, the licensing company, exclusive rights to use the design in your chosen product category for the duration of the licensing period. During that licensing period I may license the design in other product categories, but not in the product category exclusive to you. -Buyout: this mean you purchase the artwork out right and the copyright is transferred to you.
